Inverleith Park is regularly used by large numbers of people from the local community, from around Edinburgh, and from all over Scotland and overseas.
Edinburgh City Council has primary responsibility for the maintenance of the park, however many other organizations also help to support the park and to provide sports and leisure activities in the park.

Tha Parks department, part of the Council's "Services for Communities", based in the park in Inverleith House, are the custodians of Inverleith Park.
Steve Cuthill has responsibility for Inverleith Park, and can be contacted on: steve.cuthill@edinburgh.go.uk
Day to day policing inside the Park is the responsibility of the Park Ranger service, which is also based in Inverleith Park.

Inverleith Park adjoins two historic international sports venues: Edinburgh Academicals Rugby Club - site of the first ever rugby international match; and The Grange - home of the Scotland cricket team.
